We are going to discuss why your refilled laser cartridge has a High Failure rate.
OR
Why a refilled laser cartridge gives such a lot of problems.

Parts of Refilled Laser Cartridge

Here’s the moving and replaceable components in a laser toner cartridge. A laser toner cartridge typically consists of six components:

  • OPC Drum of the cartridge;
  • PCR for the cartridge;
  • Magnetic roller of the cartridge;
  • 2 blades in the cartridge;
  • Powder.

A refilled cartridge can only be refilled with fresh powder. No other parts need to be changed, and no other components are replaced.

Let’s talk about why the refilled cartridge gives you lot of issues.

The manufacturers of the original equipment has finally understood that in a country like ours and in developing countries more in general, people refill the cartridge after using it. The main problem is that, doing this, they have reduced the quality of components: usually you can use this cartridge for 3 cycles, but reducing the quality of components, they have reduced those cycles from 3 to 1,25 cycle. And this means that you it will run perfectly for the first cycle and maybe for a quarter of the second cycle.

For the rest of this second cycle, the cartridge will start to give you issues: such as paper jam, dots or patches on the paper, and even the cartridge can get jammed in the printer; but the most dangerous effect is the leak of toner into your printer.
Anyway what you do with your empty laser toner cartridge is only your choice.
